College of Engineering alumna Cynthia Murphy-Ortega was recognized for her contribution to enhancing and inspiring the career success of women in STEM with this year’s Industry Trailblazer Award from Women in Engineering ProActive Network (WEPAN).

UC Davis Chemical Engineering alumnus Robert Kiss was elected to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) this February, one of the academy’s 86 new members.

The College is pleased to name Cynthia Murphy-Ortega (Chemical Engineering, ’91), Ken Ouimet (Chemical Engineering, ’90) and JoeBen Bevirt (Mechanical Engineering, ’95) as its 2018 Distinguished Engineering Alumni Medal (DEAM) recipients. 

UC Davis chemical engineering alumnus Keith Chisholm is the senior manager of global machine design for Mars, Inc.

CHE alumnus Daniel Schwartz has been named as a recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM) from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Science Foundation.

The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), with the National Science Foundation (NSF), has named UC Davis alumna Graca Vincente as a recipient of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM).
