Coleman Kronawitter

Dr. Kronawitter researches catalysis for chemical transformations and energy conversion at both the fundamental and applied levels. The Kronawitter group designs catalyst materials and explores reactions that make use of alternative oxidants, reductants and reaction media for catalytic and electrocatalytic processes. His research enables the development of new technologies that use abundant, more sustainable raw chemical materials that allow for the use of more renewable energy sources for chemical synthesis and energy storage.
