Services and Support for Chemical Engineering Students
Chevron Tutoring Program
The Department of Chemical Engineering offers FREE tutoring in key courses offered in the first three years of curriculum in the Chemical and Biochemical Engineering majors.
The courses we offer tutoring for generally include ECH 5, 51, 60, 140, 141, 142, 143, 145A, 145B, 152A, and 152B. Tutors are selected from the best junior and senior level students and must have already achieved excellent scores in any course they tutor. The program offers students the opportunity to ask questions in a friendly, informal setting in which they can learn with and from their peers.
For the Fall 2021 Quarter, tutoring will be conducted via Zoom. Please click on the link next to the tutor's availability. You will not be able to join unless the tutor has logged in already. You will be placed in the waiting room until the tutor lets you into the Zoom meeting. If you have any issues, please contact email@example.com.

ChE Programming Geek Squad
The Department of Chemical Engineering is offering a (relatively) new program called the ChE Programming “Geek Squad”. The purpose of the program is to provide non-course specific programming support to undergraduate students, with the intent of helping students to develop their programming skills as they encounter difficulties in their courses by coaching them (not completing assignments for them) on how to implement their ideas using programs such as Python, Matlab, and Aspen Plus. Geek Squad tutors will primarily serve students in the Department of Chemical Engineering but are happy to serve all students in the College of Engineering.
