Daniel Schwartz is a recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM) from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Science Foundation. He is a University of California, Davis Alumni from the College of Chemical Engineering and is currently a professor at University of Washington.
