Engineering a Better Cup of Coffee: The Textbook

CHMS Professors Kuhl and Ristenpart have published a textbook to accompany their highly popular course ECM 1: The Design of Coffee.  The textbook, titled The Design of Coffee: An Engineering Approach, introduces chemical engineering to the layperson through the lens of making the best possible cup of coffee.  The experiments detailed within can be performed at home, so even if you aren’t able to take the course, you can still experiment to improve your morning cup of joe.
