The National Science Foundation (NSF) just announced that PI Adam Moule of the UC Davis Chemical Engineering Department will be awarded a Scalable NanoManufacturing small center grant titled “High-Throughput Scalable Nanomanufacturing of High-Performance Organic Devices.” This grant will enable collaborative research to develop a new method to pattern semiconducting polymers using photolithographic methods. Moule will work with collaborators Mark Mascal of the UC Davis Chemistry Department, Alberto Salleo of the Stanford Materials Science Department, and Costas Girgoropoulos from UC Berkeley Mechanical Engineering Department. The grant includes collaborative internships for students at Palo Alto Research Center (PARC, a Xerox company).
