Melissa Taha

"The chemical engineering program at UC Davis completely changed my life a whole 180 degrees literally. Coming in with a chemistry background, I thought I would be the odd one out compared to other students coming in with chemical engineering background. The truth is the chemical engineering program at UC Davis is the most flexible program out of all other university programs that I was accepted for. The program opened the most diverse doors of opportunity that I would have never had access to had I not invested my time in the program."

- Melissa Taha '20

Prospective Students

Students with a background in chemistry or other engineering disciplines are especially well-suited for the program. Minimum qualifications for the degree involve a full year of physics, chemistry and engineering-level math. No prior research experience is required.
