Undergraduate Scholarships

The CHE department offers several scholarships each year to deserving undergraduate students.  Please contact Eugenia Luu, undergraduate student adviser, for further information.

Biochemical Engineering Scholarship

For students majoring in Biochemical Engineering (new in 2012-13).

The Child/Whitaker Scholarship

Awarded to a junior or senior on the basis of academic merit in the Chemical Engineering program; preference is give to those who have completed one or more courses with a business orientation.

The Chevron Scholarship

For Chemical Engineering undergraduates with a preference for US citizens or permanent residents.

The Alan Jackman Scholarship

For students in any major offered by the Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science.

The Conoco Phillips Scholarship

For students in any major offered by the Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science.

Genentech PR&D Scholarship

For students majoring in Biochemical Engineering. There is a cash award plus an internship.

PepsiCo Fellowship

For all students in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and Food Science & Technology. Projects involving faculty from both departments are especially encouraged.

Wasson Family Scholarship

For students in any major offered by the Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science.

Wasson Family Scholarship for Education Abroad

Students majoring in any CHMS major who participate in the UC Davis Education Abroad program.
